Supuration
Formed in 1989 as Etsicroxe. Then changed name to Supuration, and then to S.U.P.. Known as S.U.P. (for "Spherical Unit Provided") for a few years (the "Chronophobia" era) and then changed back to simply SUP. See also Lacerated Defuncts.

BEWARE: SUP / S.U.P. and SUPURATION are two different bands, sharing the same musicians, but not the same musical style. SUP / S.U.P. plays avantgarde progressive gothic metal when Supuration plays a complex yet progressive brand of death metal.

Additional discography (only "exclusive" tracks are listed)
1992- SUPURATION - Three original and exclusive tracks on the "Obscurum per obscurius" CD compilation (Reincarnate records) along with tracks by Sepulchral, Krhoma Death, Nocturnal Fears and Dagon. This CD was a compilation made by the record shop "Underground Records" of upcoming underground death metal bands from Northern France. These three tracks are available on the "9092" CD from 1992 and its reissue from 2004 ("In remembrance of a coma", "1308.JP.08" and "Half dead").
1998- SUP - "Rotting misery" (Paradise Lost cover) on "As we die for... Paradise Lost" (tribute to Paradise Lost, Holy Records)
1998- SUP - Did a "special message Variation Bangs in my head" on Hard'n'Heavy Magazine's #1 CD sampler
1999 - SUP - "More", cover version of Sisters Of Mercy, available on Elegy Magazine's #7 CD sampler
1999 - SUP - "Shout ('97)", cover version of Tears For Fears, available on Hard'n'Heavy Magazine's #17 CD sampler (may be this is the remastered version available on "The Cube"'s reissue... info unknown...)
1999 - SUP - "Save our souls", cover version of Mötley Crüe, available on Hard Rock Magazine's #30 CD sampler
1999 - SUP - remastered version of "Room seven" can be found on "The Holy Bible 2" compilation by Holy Records.
1999 - SUP - "The whirling", available on Holy Records' "The Holy Bible 3" compilation CD
2002 - SUP - "Insanity", available on Holy Records' "The Holy Bible 4" compilation. Not "really" a song as a start, this one is made of some of the music written by the band for Fabrice Lambot's 2002 debut short movie by the same title (SUP did the original soundtrack). The addition of sounds from the movie and vocals made it a "true song". Fabrice Lambot then, in return, made a video clip for that same song with pictures taken from his movie and some additional shoots of the band playing / singing.
2005 - SUP did the original soundtrack for Fabrice Lambot's second short movie: "Le sang du châtiment".
2006 - SUP did the original soundtrack for Fabrice Lambot's debut full-length movie "Dying God"
2009 - SUP did the original soundtrack for Christophe Debacq's debut short movie "Dolorosa"
