„A Homo Maleficus első szikrái már egy éve meg voltak. Durván 2016 tavasza és ősze között készült el. Októberre már szinte végleges formába került. Mivel sokat várt a fiókban (a többi anyagomhoz képest), így a Kolontár című záródal pluszban került rá, illetve pár hete vettem fel. A borító képek a 2010-es ajkai vörös iszap katasztrófánál készültek. Ezt a lemezt szintén nem technikailag volt nehéz összerakni, inkább a hangtanra, a harmóniajátékra és a dobokra fektettem most nagy hangsúlyt. A szövegekben nincs koncepció, különálló sztorik futnak, de mind az emberi természetet és magatartást vesézi ki.” – mondja új albuma tematikájáról Nagaarum.
