Ayreon – nagyszabású válogatás anyag
A progresszív zene holland nagyágyúja, a gitáros-zeneszerző Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Stream of passion) az idei 01011001 Ayreon lemez után most egy nagyszabású válogatással készül kirukkolni.

A három CD-t valamint egy DVD-t tartalmazó gyűjtemény a Timeline címet kapta és végigköveti az Ayreon zenei fejlődését a ’95-ös debüttől (The Final Experiment) az idei lemezig. Természetesen, ahogy az ilyenkor szokásos, nem kizárólag az dalok albumváltozatai kerültek a korongokra és egy új, több, mint kilenc perces nóta is készült.
Az Epilogue: The Memory Remains-ben Jasper Steverlinck (ARID) hangját hallhatjuk.
Természetesen a három CD-re (ami nagyjából négy óra zenét jelent) a dalok remaszterizálva kerültek fel.
A csomagban található DVD-n pedig korábban már megjelent anyagok mellett jelentős mennyiségű kiadatlan klip illetva színfalak mögötti jelenet és élő felvétel is található közel két órában. A hangzás természetesen 5.1.
A csomag természetesen kiállítását tekintve sem hagy majd kívánnivalót magaután (borítót lásd fentebb), de fontos információ, hogy valamennyi dalszöveg megtalálható lesz az 56 oldalas bookletben kiegészítve új fotókkal, poszterrel.
