 Az 1992 óta létező kanadai Necronomicon júniusban szabadítja fel negyedik nagylemezét a Season Of Mist támogatásával. A zenekar horrorral táplálkozó death metalban utazik, a lemez címe Rise of the Elder Ones lesz. Fő inspirálójuk, H.P. Lovecraft egyik művét juttathatja eszünkbe a nyilvánosságra hozott From Beyond c. dal is.
