A holland Cypher jelenleg jelenleg a 2. lemezükre fókuszál és az új anyag egyértelműen lesújtó kalapácsként fogja szétzúzni a golyóitokat – állítja a kiadó Rusty Cage Records. A zene még brutálisabb, komplexebb dallamosabb és nyersebb – a zenekar már alig várja, hogy a világra szabadíthassa a kis szörnyetegét. Bár hivatalos megjelenési dátum még nincs, 2009 elejére várható. Az egyik új dal, a Then came the flies demó verzióját meghallgathatjátok a csapat myspace oldalán.
Cypher is currently focussing on material for their second album and the new material will certainly hit you like a hammer in the nuts! More brutal, intricate, melodic, yet blunt as hell. The band can’t wait to unleash this monster into the world. No official release date has been set yet, but expect it early 2009! To give all death metal fans a preview of what’s to come, Cypher has posted a pre-production version of the song „Then came the flies” at their Myspace page.

Jeff Walker, a Carcass énekes bőgőse is feltűnik a következő Cypher albumon. A The Plague Race című dalban Walker a holland banda frontembere, T mellett énekel. A lemez még elég korai stádiumban van, a szülés 2008 végére várható, az örömapa pedig a Rusty Cage Records lesz.

A holland death/thrash metal csapat Cypher elkészült „Darkday Carnival” című bemutatkozó lemezének munkálataival. A felvételek a Excess Stúdióban készültek a keverést és a maszterizálást Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES) készítette. Az album „Rape the Willing” című trackjében vendégeskedik Robbe K.
