Ősszel ismét Budapestre érkezik a Nazareth. A Bending the Rules című turné egyik apropója legnagyobb slágerük, a Love Hurts, amit éppen 50 éve, 1975-ben adott elő először a skót rockzenekar. November 27-én a Dürer Kertben zenélnek, a német Grey Attack fellépése után.

A Nazareth a hard rock és heavy metal zenekarok első generációjához tartozik, a Led Zeppelinnel, a Uriah Heeppel és a Deep Purple-lel együtt. 1968-ban alakult, és az alapító tagok közül Pete Agnew a mai napig aktívan zenél az együttesben, amiben ma már fia, Lee Agnew is ott van dobosként, Jimmy Murrison gitáros és Carl Sentance énekes mellett. Több mint 30 millió eladott lemezzel a Nazareth Skócia legsikeresebb rockzenekara (a Simple Minds mellett).

A Love Hurts című dalt power balladaként adták elő 50 évvel ezelőtt, és ez vált az eredetileg Boudleaux és Felice Bryant által írt szám legnépszerűbb feldolgozásává, egyben az egyetlen olyan verzióvá, amely slágerré vált az Egyesült Államokban. A felvétel első helyezést ért el Kanadában, Hollandiában, Belgiumban, Dél-Afrikában és Norvégiában, utóbbi országban 61 héten keresztül szerepelt a slágerlistán, ebből 14 hétig az első helyen, ezzel minden idők legsikeresebb kislemeze lett ott. Csak a Spotify-on 247 milliószor játszották le, és ez a szám még ma is hetente emelkedik egy millióval.  

Ez lesz tehát az őszi turné apropója, de természetesen más klasszikusok is felcsendülnek majd, például a Dream On, a This Flight Tonight és a Hair Of The Dog.

A Nazareth Kanadából, egy búcsúturnéként beharangozott koncertsorozatról érkezik Európába, előttük pedig a Grey Attack játszik: a németországi Aachenben, 2013-ban indult csapat zenéjében a rock, hard rock és poszt-grunge elemek keverednek egy csipetnyi metallal, és mindezt a frontember, Grey Charlez autentikus, egyedülálló hangja tesszi különlegessé:

A svéd doom/stoner metal trió, a Hexjakt december 1-én Blessing Of The Damned címmel adja ki debütáló albumát a Majestic Mountain Records / Burning Skull Records gondozásában. A komor hangulatú doom metalt játszó zenekar 2024-ben alakult. Zenéjük lassú, monolitikus és érzelmileg telített, dalaikban az okkultizmus, az emberi törékenység és a hatalmas ismeretlen témáit kutatják. A nyolc dalos albumról az alábbiakban The Act Of Dying, valamint Monolith dalaik szöveges videóival ismerkedhetek meg.

Az ausztrál atmoszférikus sludge/post-metal trió, az Adnate bemutatta új kislemezes dala, a Sovereignless//Swarm videoklipjét. A dalban a zenekar egy olyan hangzásvilágot teremt, ami egy olyan utazásra viszi hallgatóját, ami a remény és a spiritualitás pislákolásának érzéseként írható le, amit lassan felemészt a káosz pusztító ereje. A videóval hamarosan megjelenő albumukat vezetik fel.

A 2022-es We Are The Black Knights című válogatásalbum után vadonatúj dalával tért a kultikus monacói black metal projekt, a Godkiller. A multi-zenész, Duke Satanaël által 1994 óta működtetett one-man formáció már kezdeti zenéiben fontosnak tartotta középkori kor megidézését. Igaz ez a hangulat az évek során háttérbe szorult, mára pedig szinte teljesen eltűnt, helyét egy modernebb, hidegebb és sterilebb légkör vette át, ahogyan azt új dala, a The End Of The World is mutatja.

Az eredetileg a Godkiller debütáló nagylemezére vonatkozó stilisztikai utalásként szánt nyers, földöntúli és magával ragadó The End of the World című dalt még 1997-ben vették fel, ami akkor az Avantgarde Music / Wounded Love Records által 1998-ban kiadott, In Decay We Trust Vol.1 válogatásalbumon szerepelt. A black metal történelem eme darabja most az árnyékból emelkedik ki a művész eredeti elképzelése előtt tisztelegve, egy különleges 7 hüvelykes bakelitkiadásban, exkluzív pólódizájnnal kísérve a DMP gondozásában.

2026. február 6-án jelenik meg a Tool frontemberének, Maynard James Keenan másik bandájaként is ismert Puscifer új albuma, a Normal Isn’t. A lemez első videójaként a Self Evident nézhető meg.

Új lemezükkel kapcsolatban az alábbiakat osztották meg:

Ez az a hely, ahonnan én jövök.” – mondta Maynard James Keenan. „A Normal Isn’t tükrözi a jelenkorunkat. Előadókként és művészekként a mi feladatunk megfigyelni, értelmezni és beszámolni. Figyeljük a környezetünket, és megosztjuk, amit látunk. Márpedig ami körülöttünk látható, az nem tűnik normálisnak. Egyáltalán nem.”

„Ahelyett, hogy csak annyit mondott volna, ’azt akarom, hogy ez úgy szóljon, mintha a Fleetwood Mac kokainon lenne, és PJ Harvey-val közös gyerekük született volna’, Maynard megmutatta nekünk, mit szeretne, ami nagyon klassz. A Pusciferben bármelyik ötlet teljesen megváltozhat anélkül, hogy bárki is neheztelne rá, és abban mindenki benne van. Mintha csak egy elmegyógyintézetben lennénk. Azért találtunk egymásra, mert szimbiotikus módon őrültek vagyunk.” – tette hozzá Carina Round, a zenekar énekesnője.

Ash Eclipses Flesh címmel november 21-én jelenik meg a texasi grinding death metalos Terror Corpse debütáló albuma. A 2025-ben az amerikai underground veteránjait (Mat V. – ének/gitár, Christian Larson – basszusgitár/vokák, Dobber Beverly – dobok/gitár) tömörítő Malignant Altar romjaira épülő banda egy mély hangolású, sötét és erőszakos death metal albumot tesz le elénk bemutatkozásaként. A 10 dalos lemez a Dark Descent Records kiadásában fog megjelenni CD/LP és dogitális formátumban. Kedvcsinálójukként Sons of Perdition dalukkal lehet ismerkedni.
