Október 30-án adja ki hetedik albumát az ausztrál metalcore vonalas Northlane. Anemoia című 10 dalos lemezükről eddig három daluk videója került bemutatásra.

A Northlane hetedik albuma, az Anemoia – minden érzelmi intenzitásában és fizikai mértékében – a zenekarra jellemző elektronikus metal számos formáját ötvözi. Fejestugorhatunk az euforikus transzban, a szeizmikus leállásokban, agytorzító groove-okban, drum and bassben, jungle és popban hangok keverékében, amik a Northlane saját zenei szingularitásává egyesültek. „Hozzánk járulunk a totális káoszhoz.” – mondták.

Új dalt adott ki a dán deathcore vonalas Cabal. Hurt Me című dalukban az Employed To Serve énekesnője, Justine Jones is közreműködik.

„A Hurt Me arról szól, hogy az ember kifejezetten mérgező kapcsolatokat és romboló helyzeteket keres, csak azért, hogy érezzen valamit, még akkor is, ha tudja, hogy azok ártanak neki. Abba az ördögi körbe merül alá, amikor az ember a fájdalom után sóvárog, mert úgy véli, hogy semmit sem érezni még annál is rosszabb. A számban barátunk, Justine Jones, az Employed To Serve énekesnője is közreműködik, akinek átható üvöltései még egy réteg zsigeri kétségbeesést adnak a számhoz.”

A templomgyújtogatásról osztott meg egy vidám kis dalt a Satanic Planet. A Church Burning című dal október 30-án megjelenő Dead Deities albumról való.

 A Martin Sigurður Kajzar zenész és zenetudós vezette projekt új albuma a skandináv mitológia és az izlandi tájak ihlette narratívát dolgoz fel, amelynek középpontjában Einarr, a holló karaktere áll. Martin Sigurður Kajzar az album megírásához tradicionális mitológiai forrásokra, köztük az Eddákra támaszkodott, miközben egy teljesen új történetet hozott létre. Az album szerkezete számos visszatérő elemen alapul, beleértve a hármas és a kilences számokat, amelyek Einarr kilenc életének és az album kilenc kompozíciójának felelnek meg.
