Első kislemezének megjelentetésére készül a Nagyváradon megalakult deathcore/slam/death metal trió, a Gift of Grave. A Kulcsár Edmond, Makra Gábor és Antal Patrik tagokból álló fiatal csapat év végére tervezi kiadni az INNRGRV címet viselő EP-t.

Az alábbi videóban látható és hallható My Burden című dal ennek a kiadványnak az előfutára. A magukat az erdélyi underground metal színtér egyik sötét fáklyahordozójaként aposztrofáló banda úgy fogalmazott, hogy a szerzemény egy „súlyos és személyes belső utazás zenei lenyomata. A dal egy félelmekkel való szembenézést, a múlt máglyára helyezését dolgozza fel: a gyász, az önvád és a belső purgatórium égető őszinteségét önti hanggá, kompromisszumok nélkül. A hangzás nyers és őszinte, a mondanivaló mélyen spirituális.” A kislemez koncepciójaként a halál, a belső harc és a transzformáció témákat dolgozzák fel.

A zenei kapaszkadókkal rendelkező súlyos, de egyben fogós nóta alapján nagyon is komolyan kell venni a hármasfogatot. Mind a hangzás, mind az ötletek tekintetében ígéretes EP-re van kilátás; a műfajt kedvelők figyelmét mindenképpen felkeltheti ez a bemutatkozás. Új dallal jelentkezett a kolozsvári Left Hand Path zenekar. A old-school és modernebb megközelítésű elemeket vegyítő melodikus death metal alakulat már 2019-ben kiadott egy erős EP-t (erről itt írtunk), az alábbi szöveges videó azonban egy egészen friss nóta, amellyel a banda újabb lépcsőfokot igyekszik megtenni, hiszen a zenéjükbe új és több forrásból táplálkozó elemek is kerültek.

Az erdélyi formációt Wagner Tamás (gitár), Sebastian “Boke” Bucătaru (vokál), Attila Szenasi (bőgő), Doru Nedelcu (gitár/billentyű/elektronika) és Dávid Andor Kiss (dobok) alkotják, a Charnel Grounds címet viselő új szerzemény keverését és a maszterét pedig Ronnie Björnström végezte Svédországban.

Az új szerzemény a buddhizmus egyik legősibb és legmegrázóbb hagyományát, az égi temetkezési módot dolgozza fel – azt a rituálét, amelynek során az elhunyt testét a természet elemeinek ajánlják fel kopár hegyi tetemmezőkön. A dalszöveg az élet és halál körforgását idézi meg, nyers őszinteséggel ragadva meg a mulandóság lényegét és a szellemi felemelkedés lehetőségét.
