Az Alestorm néven ismert duhajkodó skót folk/power metal alakulat ötödik állomásánál tart, amely No Grave But The Sea címen jelent meg a napokban. A megjelenés örömére elkészítették a Fucked With An Anchor klipjét, ezzel is tükrözve a stúdiómunkát körülölelő határtalan jókedvet.

Xanthochroid néven egy amerikai progresszív black metal zenekart tartunk számon, akiknek dupla albuma Of Erthe And Axen címen kerül boltokba valamikor még ebben az évben. A Jana Heidersdorf által készített borítón Thanos és Sindr látható. Az előbbi a természetes világot és a mágiát jelképezi, míg utóbbi a technológia és az ipar tüzében lángol.

A chilei Procession végre megosztotta rajongóival az új lemezre vonatkozó részleteket. Az idén érkező korongot Doom Decimation címen adják ki a doom mesterei. Négy évvel a To Reap Heavens Apart után október 31-én vehető majd kézhez az új korong, amely a High Roller Records kiadó gondozását élvezi.

A New Orleansban székelő Goatwhore újabb dallal kedveskedik a nagyérdeműnek. A Vengeful Ascension címet kapott korongról ezúttal a Chaos Arcane kerül a közönség elé szöveges videó formájában. Az H.P. Lovecraft egyik karakterére épülő koncepció biztos sokakat érdekelni fog. Tekintsétek meg:

Az epikus black metalt játszó svéd Ereb Altor felfedte vadonatúj albumának borítóját. Az Ulfven címen megjelenő lemez a Hammerheart Records kiadónál lát napvilágot júliusban. A borítót Robban Kanto és Mattias Frisk/Mats Skickat készítették.

A budapesti egyszemélyes Sculptures még februárban jelentette meg bemutatkozó EP-jét IIII címen. Május 22-én azonban a folytatás is elkészült röpke negyedórányi zenei tartalommal, három igencsak tetszetős, erős tétellel. A kislemez a kissé különös :. címet viseli. A black metal dalok mögött álló Iapetus elérhetővé tette mindhárom szerzeményt, az alábbi lejátszóban meg is lehet hallgatni, illetve ingyen le lehet tölteni.

Ezúton szállítjuk mindenkinek a szokásos heti lemezadagot, azaz a hétfő óta megjelent albumok listáját. Több figyelemre méltó anyagra bukkanhattok, ha figyelmesen átböngészitek az alábbi 122 nevet.

Malina címen jön ki augusztus 25-én az új Leprous lemez, amelyet egy Magyarországot is érintő turné követ. November 19-én az A38-as hajón lehet majd elcsípni őket, ahol végre főbandaként érkeznek hozzánk.

Einar Solberg énekes/billentyűs a következőket árulta el:

„Az új anyag tökéletes példája annak, hogy miként lesz egy kezdeti vízióból valami egészen más. A Malinaval elértük, hogy úgy szóljanak modernül a dalok, hogy ugyanakkor természetesek, organikusak maradjanak. Az organikus természetesen nem jelent retro hangzást, viszont ezúttal inkább lettünk rock, mint metal zenekar. Őrülten büszkék vagyunk erre az albumra, alig várom, hogy mások is megismerjék.”

A szenzációs borító kapcsán a következőket említette:

„Ezúttal valami újat szerettünk volna kipróbálni, új grafikussal dolgozni. Néhány barátom ajánlotta Corey Meyerst, így rákerestem, és rájöttem, hogy hihetetlenül jó a fickó. Ez az első alkalom, hogy a borító első próbálkozásból tökéletes lett, azonkívül, hogy a lemezt is kiválóan tükrözi.”
