A Morton Black a 19 éves Joey Ferwerda dallamos metal projektje az Ayreon/Avantasia irányvonalán. Első EP-jük október 5-én jelenik Confusion of Existence címmel a Deity Down Records gondozásában. A csapat felállásáról a korábbi hírekben olvashattok, azóta két énekest jelentettek be, Koen Romeijn (Detonation, Cardamon, Engorge) és a hard rock veterán Stan Verbraak (Highway Chile, ex-Helloise) személyében. A fent látható borítót Geo Graffelman tervezte. Myspace oldalukon egyelőre csak a maszter nélküli verzió hallgatható meg.
