Az olasz blackened metal punk banda, a Stygian július 4-én adja ki debütáló albumát Dreadlands címmel a Time To Kill Records gondozásában. A 2024 óta aktív zenekar (akik nem összetévesztendőek a szintén olasz azonos nevű heavy metal zenekarral) zenéjében a crust punk és az extrém metal perzselő hibridjét kínálja. 10 dalos lemezükről máris itt van Death Rite című daluk szöveges videója, ami témájában a túlélés ősi ösztönébe és a hatalom és dominancia ősi rituáléihoz fűződő zsigeri kapcsolatba merül el.

Hamarosan új lemezét adja ki az amerikai power metal legenda, a Vicious Rumors. The Devil’s Asylum címet viselő albumuk augusztus 29-én a Steamhammer gondozásában fog megjelenni, amiről elsőként Bloodbath  daluk videójával lehet megismerkedni.

Ma este a Dürer Kertben koncertezik a Born of Osiris. Az amerikai progresszív deathcore/metalcore vonalas banda július 11-én Through Shadows címmel adja ki új nagylemezét, aminek újabb előzeteseként címadójának videóját osztotta meg.

„A Through Shadows az emberi tapasztalatokat jeleníti meg. Legyen szó csendes küzdelmekről vagy súlyos viharokról, amelyeket mindannyian át kell, hogy éljünk. Ez a dal arról szól, hogy nézzünk szembe a sötétséggel, annak elfogadása mellett, hogy árnyék nélkül a fény sem tud átragyogni. Amikor úgy érezzük, hogy minden elveszett, választás előtt állunk: szembenézünk a pusztulással vagy megvédjük a létezésünket. Abhorred Paradox címmel adta ki első EP-jét a fővárosi stoner/groove metal vonalas Left Cold to Wilt. Az öt dalos anyag  felvételei 2024 őszén kezdődtek el. A gitárokat Kemencei Balázs vezetésével vette fel a zenekar a budapesti Sun Street Wreckordsban. Az ének felvételeket Turcsák Bence rögzítette a Probahely.hu-nál, a keverést pedig Hoffmann Róbert a Sparrow Music Studióban végezte el. 

“Változó arányban vegyítjük az általunk kedvelt stílusokat, amiben a doom, stoner, groove metalt kevertük kis metalcore-ral.” – mondták EP-jük kapcsán.

A nyár folyamán az alábbi eseményeken találkozhattok velük.

A német black metal zenekar, az Imha Tarikat június 20-án Confessing Darkness címmel adja ki negyedik albumát a Prophecy Productions gondozásában. A lemezre 11 vitriolos, nyers haraggal és égető gyűlölettel teli black metal nóta kerül fel. A lemezről Wicked Shrine és The Day I Died (Reborn Into Flames) dalaik videói nézhető meg.

A brazil underground mélyéről érkező black/thrash/death projekt, a Mortalha Negra június 18-án a Helldprod Records révén adja ki debütáló EP-jét Necromante címmel. A projektet Armando Exekutor vezeti, aki már ismerős lehet Flageladör és Gravedäncer nevű formációinak rozsdás és acélos lázadásaiból. Új formációjában a primitív és tüzes dögvész agresszióját hozza el, aminek első csapásaként Insurreição de Forças Infernais dalának pusztító lendületével ismerhetitek meg.
