A Morrison Graves a pre-doom és post-psychedelia világában kanyarog. Első lemezével jelentkezett a hazai pszichedelikus/space rock/trip-hop kollektíva, a Diablo Alpujarrasban. A Lemurian Folk Songs tagjait rejtő zenekar hét tételes self-tilt debütáló albuma október 3-án jelent meg a Psychedelic Source Records kiadásában.

„Úgy tíz évvel ezelőtt Spanyolországban, a granadai éjszakában egy őrült élményben volt részem egy kolumbiai kokainfüggővel, aki kést tartott a kezében. Csak a hátizsákom volt nálam, annak tartalmával: némi víz és ruhák. Térkép és telefonom sem volt.”

„Úgy döntöttem, hogy elmenekülök… Így hát „legyalogoltam” az Alpujarrasba, majd tovább az Almijaras felé, végül pedig le Almunécarba. Az út néhány napig tartott, ezalatt csak mandulát és gránátalmát ehettem. Amikor végre eléred a partot, kötelező venni pár sört és meginni őket a tengerparton.”

A Bay Area-i thrash veterán csapat, a Testament október 10-én, Para Bellum címmel adja ki tizennegyedik nagylemezét. A lemez mellé High Noon daluk friss videót is kapott.

„A Para Bellum gyors, súlyos és dallamos szerzeményeket tartalmaz. A lemez egyszerre egy harci kiáltás és egyben egy megfigyelés az emberiség saját teremtményeivel való bizonytalan szövetsége kapcsán. Ahogy a technológia egyre gyorsul, és a társadalmi elszigetelődés növekszik. Az album ezt a  modern káoszt érzékelteti nyomatékos, pengeéles és rendíthetetlenül emberi zenével. A koncert során Shadows Are Security című, korszakalkotó albumuk két évtizedes évfordulóját ünneplik meg a norvég technikás groove metal zenekar, a Hypermass társaságában.

A stoner death metalos Bonginator október 24-én, a Testimony Records gondozásában jelenteti meg második albumát Retrodeath címmel. A zenekar elmondása szerint új lemezük inspirációihoz „hónapokig elmerültünk a ’80-as évek akció- és horrorfilmjeiben, valamint rengeteg régi videojátékkal játszunk”. Hamarosan megjelenő lemezének újabb előzetesével jelentkezett a német brutal-surf-death-party metal zenekar, a Stillbirth. Survival Protocol című lemezük október 31-én a Reigning Phoenix Music gondozásában fog megjelenni, amiről máris itt van Throne Of Bones daluk.
