A kanadai zenész-dalszerző, politikaikommentátor, Juno-díjas Matthew Good két új kislemezes dalának videóit mutatta be Triage és Lost and Found Kids címmel. A dalok szeptember 26-án megjelenő Zero Hours albumáról valóak.

Újabb dalt mutatott be ősszel megjelenő lemezéről az Orion Dawn. Az új lemez az idén márciusban kiadott Banger EP-jük dalait is magába foglalja majd. Új daluk, a Cliché Kinggel kapcsolatban az alábbi infókat osztották meg:

„A most megjelenő Cliché King ezt a posztpunkos lendületet viszi tovább, és mutat meg egy újabb szeletet az ősszel megjelenő nagylemezből. Ebben a dalban is a harag egy újabb formája jelentkezik úgy, hogy közben tükröt mutat az üzleti és politikai elit ürességtől zengő lélektelenségének és a “soha nem elég” mentalitásának. A lényeg, hogy fullra kell járatni a jelent, a lehető legnagyobb hatalomra szert tenni, a többi meg le van szarva. Köztük mi is. Nem hinném, hogy ezt tovább kellene ragozni.”

Az Orion Dawnt legközelebb augusztus 1-én, a Dürer Kertben megrendezésre kerülő Monolit fesztiválon lehet elcsípni.

A kanadai black metal/sludge duó, a Blood Brain Barrier július 29-én adja ki debütáló EP-jét Windows Drenched In Red címmel. A zenekart Isabelle Tazbir énekes és a multi-zenész Mrudul Kamble működteti. Elmondásuk szerint zenéjük: „egy alámerülés a meditáció és a transzcendencia határmezsgyéi közé, egy merész szembenézés az ürességgel, ahol a katarzis egyszerre fegyver és seb.” Mindezek kedvcsinálója ként itt van három számuk.

Az egyszemélyes osztrák black metal projekt, a Rauhnåcht augusztus 25-én adja ki Zwischenwelten EP-jét az Antiq gondozásában. A projektet vezető multi-zenész, hegymászó és remete Stefan Traunmüller új dalaiban koherens tapadást alkot a természet szépségével és a műfaj adta szabadság feltérképezetlen hatásaival. Kedvcsinálóként Das Mark des Lebens című dala ismerhető meg tőle.
